KOUTS | The Kankakee Valley Historical Society will hold its general meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Kouts Library 101 E. Daumer Road.
The program, which is open to the public, will be presented by Richard Maryonovich on prehistoric flint knapping techniques.
This program will include an introduction to knapping, a brief history and the process. Maryonovich will do a demonstration using raw flint and turn it into a functioning arrow point.
