PORTAGE TOWNSHIP | A 20-year-old man said he was jumped by three men as he left his home along Rushingwater Drive at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The man said he was punched in the face and knocked to the ground, police said.
The attackers were reportedly wearing hooded sweatshirts and had the hoods pulled up, according to police. The identity of the attackers is unknown and the complainant did not want to pursue the matter further.
Police said the man had dried blood on both hands and had been bleeding from a cut above his right eye and from his nose. Police found no sign of a fight in the area and neighbors heard nothing.
