Members Advantage Credit Union is offering two $1,000 scholarships in 2013 for graduating high school seniors and college freshman and sophomores enrolled in a college, university or trade school.
Applications will also be available at the Michigan City and Portage locations.
Members Advantage will offer The Gail Walker Memorial Scholarship created in memory of former board member Gail Walker, who passed away in 2008. Members Advantage will also be awarding The Leona Bruno Scholarship in memory of the first manager of Members Advantage Credit Union.
Scholarships will be given to candidates who demonstrate scholastic achievement and personal integrity and who are involved in their community. For more information and to download the applications, visit www.macuonline.org.
The applications will not be accepted via email. Each application must be mailed in or dropped off in its entirety. All walk-in applications must be received by April 1, and all mail-in applications must be postmarked by April 1.
