PORTAGE | The Nativity Parish 48th annual Summer Festival begins at 6 tonight at 2949 Willowcreek Road. The fest continues through Sunday with hours from 6 to midnight Friday and Saturday and noon to 10 p.m. Sunday. There will be carnival rides, homemade food, kids games, used book and movie sales, beer garden and bingo inside the smoke free air conditioned hall. The grand raffle will be held at 9 p.m. Sunday with a grand prize of $10,000.
There will be live entertainment nightly. Tonight Dan Reisen will perform from 6 to 7:30 and then The Crawpuppies from 8 to close. On Friday entertainment includes Habu and Dick Diamond & the Dusters. On Saturday there is the Mario Samaniego Band and NAWTY. On Sunday there will be family karaoke in the afternoon. The Al Wronko Band and The Relics will perform later that evening.
