PORTAGE | New Vistas High School night high school classes will begin Sept. 11.

The classes are open to students in Northwest Indiana who need to complete diploma requirements. The night class program is designed to benefit students who enroll with New Vistas to complete their diploma requirements as well as to students enrolled in area high schools that are behind in credits.

Registrations for the night high school classes will be from 1 to 6 p.m. on Sept. 9 and 10. Times for the class are 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Cost of the program is determined by the enrollment type.

New Vistas High School, at 5391 Central Ave., Portage, is sponsored by Neighbors’ Educational Opportunities, Inc., a nonprofit agency dedicated to providing an alternative means of earning a high school diploma.

NEO provides New Vistas High School, a full-accredited charter high school as well as GED preparation classes.
