PORTAGE | The Portage High School class of 2013 will leave a significant imprint on the school as they depart its halls.

The Portage Township School Board this week accepted a donation of $3,000 from the class of 2013.

Class officer Collin Czilli said seniors were able to save the money and wanted to donate the $3,000 to the high school. It will be used toward replacing the carpeting in the commons area of the south cafeteria with floor tile including the school's logo in the center of the area with the class year.

The board accepted the donation.
