Resident reports shed burglarized

PORTAGE | A resident of the 2300 block of Superior reported to police early Thursday morning that a shed had been broken into and several items are missing.

A resident of the home told police she was outside in her car about 2 a.m. when she saw a man walking through her neighbor's backyard and then her family's backyard. She watched him take several items from the back and place them in a pile near the street. She then saw a vehicle stop and a second man got out and helped load the items into the vehicle.

Missing from the shed was a snow blower, weed cutter, pressure washer, lawn blower and three five-gallon cans of gasoline. The items were valued at just over $1,400.
