Red Cross blood drives offered

Upcoming blood donation opportunities:

• 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Harbor SuperStores, 6100 U.S. 6, Portage. Come to donate and receive a coupon for a free doughnut from Dunkin’ Donuts. Call (219) 771-7760 to schedule appointment.

• 8:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Walmart, 6087 U.S. 6, Portage. Come to donate and receive a coupon for a free doughnut from Dunkin’ Donuts.

• 1 to 7 p.m. Monday at St. Teresa of Avila in the Catholic Student Center, 1604 Lincolnway, Valparaiso. Come to donate and receive a coupon for a free doughnut from Dunkin’ Donuts.

• Noon to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Kouts High School in the auditorium, 302 E. College Ave., Kouts. This is a Bleed for the Band blood drive. Come to donate receive a coupon for one free taco courtesy of Taco Bell.

• 1 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Westchester Intermediate School in the wrestling room, 1050 S. Fifth St., Chesterton. Come to donate at this Pint Size Heroes blood drive and receive a coupon for a free doughnut from Dunkin’ Donuts and a coupon good for one free taco courtesy of Taco Bell. This blood drive is sponsored by the Student Council.

• 2 to 7 p.m. Jan. 24 at St. Mary’s Church in the fellowship hall, 402 E. Indiana Ave., Kouts.

• 2 to 7 p.m. Jan. 25 at Thomas Jefferson School in the cafeteria, 1600 Roosevelt Road, Valparaiso. This is a Pint Size Heroes blood drive. Come to donate receive a coupon for one free taco courtesy of Taco Bell.

• 2 to 6 p.m. Jan. 25 at the American Legion, located at 4 E. Monroe St., Valparaiso. Come to donate and receive a coupon for a free doughnut from Dunkin’ Donuts.

• 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Jan. 26 at Best Buy, 91 Silhavy, Valparaiso. Come to donate and receive a coupon for a free doughnut from Dunkin’ Donuts.

• 4 to 8 p.m. Jan. 30 at South Haven Elementary School cafeteria, 395 Midway Drive, Valparaiso. Come to donate at this Pint Size Heroes blood drive and receive a coupon for a free doughnut from Dunkin’ Donuts and a coupon good for one free taco courtesy of Taco Bell.

Also, the Merrillville Donor Center, 791 E. 83rd Ave., is open from 12:30 to 5 p.m. every Monday and from 8 a.m. until noon the first and third Saturdays of each month.
