VALPARAISO | The Porter County chapter of Mothers & More will again offer the public a chance to buy and sell gently used children's clothing, toys, and gear. This year’s spring Kids Closet sale will be from 8 a.m. to noon April 13 at the Butterfield Pavilion, corner of Evans and Calumet Avenue. Admission is $2 per person from 8 to 10 a.m. After 10, admission is $1 per person. Persons under 18 years old are admitted without charge. The sale brings together families looking for gently used clothing and equipment with people who have such items to sell.
The Kids Closet Sale is a one-of-a-kind, semi-annual event with up to 30 tables of children's items for sale, including items for babies, toddlers, children and mothers-to-be. Mothers & More will take care of all of the advertising for the event. Individuals reserving a table will set their own prices and keep 100 percent of their own profit.
“We continue to build on the amazing success of our popular sale that has been held for the past 11 years,” said event chairperson Nicky Calhoun. “The selection of clothing and toys is second to none. It really is a phenomenal sale with so much to choose from in one place.” To reserve a table, or for more Kids Closet information, contact Nicky at firstname.lastname@example.org.
