PORTAGE | Three Portage residents face drug charges after police went to their home looking for a former resident, but found drugs inside the home.
Derrick Angelucci, 22, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, dealing marijuana and maintaining a common nuisance.
Rachel Cook-Ramirez, 22, and David Angelucci, 26, were charged with maintaining a common nuisance.
Police went to a home Monday in the 300 block of Jacobs Street to serve a warrant for Melissa Tigner, who was wanted by officials in Georgia. Police were allowed into the home to search for Tigner, but she was not there. The officer who searched the home reported smelling burned marijuana in the home. When denied permission to search the home for marijuana, he obtained a search warrant from a local judge.
Police then fround 24 grams of marijuna in jar, prescription painkillers, cash and a digital scale.
