Burglars vandalize home's interior with garden hose
UNION TOWNSHIP | A Union Township called police Tuesday evening after returning home from work to find her bedroom doused with her garden hose.
Police were dispatched at 6:39 p.m. to the home on County Road 600 West, according to the police report. In her statement, the woman said she suspected the intruder used the garden hose to keep her two dogs away while in the house.
Multiple rooms in the house were disturbed. While she initially thought nothing was taken, she reported to police later in the evening that two jewelry boxes were missing from the top of her dresser along with a pillow case. Police have no suspects at this time.
