MLK holiday anniversary

GARY | Commemorate the 30th anniversary of the historic signing of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday bill from noon to 1:45 p.m. at First AME Church, 2045 Massachusetts St. Sponsored by the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. National Holiday at 30 Ecumenical Committee and the Katie Hall Educational Foundation. Richard Gordon Hatcher, former mayor of Gary, will deliver the keynote speech. He will be joined by state Sen. Lonnie Randolph, Gary Councilwoman Mary Brown and Barbara A. Fall Thanksgiving concert

Concert aids Art House Project

HOBART | Artist's Refuge Network is sponsoring a night of praise and worship from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Hobart Assembly of God Church, 7545 E. Ridge Road.
