Rummage sale

VALPARAISO | Christ Lutheran Church Youth sponsors a rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, 2610 N. Campbell St., with all of the proceeds to be used for the Christ Lutheran youth projects, especially their annual mission trip during the summer. The sale is held in the activity center. Easter bake sale

Spaghetti dinner

HAMMOND | United Methodist Women of Hyde Park United Methodist Church will host a spaghetti dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. at 6348 Harrison Ave. Dinner includes spaghetti, salad bar and dessert. Take outs are available for $5. Call (219) 713-3485.

Breakfast with Easter Bunny

CHICAGO | The Knights of Columbus General Pulaski Council 3323 will host its annual pancake breakfast with the Easter Bunny from 8 a.m. to noon at St. Columba Social Center, 13323 S. Greenbay Ave. The bunny always gives a free gift to every kid. Dine on all-you-can-eat eggs cooked to order, pancakes, French toast, sausage, orange juice, coffee and milk. Carryouts are available. Family Fun Day

WANATAH | Family Bible Church of Wanatah is hosting a Family Fun Day beginning at 9:30 a.m. The day will feature a Tractor Show with antique and modern tractors, games for kids and adults, a free family portrait, and more. A free lunch will be provided and admission also is free. The day will begin at 9:30 with classes for all ages, morning service at 10:30 and all activities will begin following the 10:30 service. MUNSTER | Joys of Spring is the theme for the annual luncheon and bake sale hosted by the women of Ridge United Methodist Church at 10:45 a.m. at 8607 Columbia Ave. Two hot casserole dishes, a variety of salads and cookies are made by the women of the church.  Beverages are included. Seder meal

CEDAR LAKE | Experience a traditional Jewish Passover Seder with special emphasis on Jesus the Messiah and His Last Supper from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Great Oaks Banquets, 13109 S. Wicker Ave. The meal will be conducted by Doug Carmel from Rock of Israel Ministries. This is a teaching Seder, where Carmel will explain the history and symbolism found in the ceremony that was established as a remembrance of the exodus of the Jews from Egyptian bondage.
