PORTER COUNTY | A semitrailer rolled Tuesday and shut down the ramp onto the Indiana Toll Road at Ind. 49, police said.
The ramp to the Toll Road was closed for more than two hours as officials moved the 70,000-pound load of liquid truck wash the semi was hauling to another trailer, according to an Indiana State Police news release.
The driver of the semitrailer, Dale Kyle, of Gary, was ticketed for unsafe lane movement, police said.
Investigators believe Kyle, who was northbound on Ind. 49, took the ramp too fast.
