PORTAGE TOWNSHIP | Brendan Clancy, Portage Township trustee, and South Haven business and service organizations are hosting the first Haven Hollow Harvest Fest from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday at Haven Hollow Park, 330 W. County Road 700 North. This event is free for ages 12 and younger. 

Activities include:

* 5:30-8 p.m. Horse and carriage rides, Halloween games and crafts, pumpkin decorating, hot dogs and chips, cider hut

* 6 p.m. Luminaria lighting

* 6:30 p.m. Costume parade

* 7 p.m. Scavenger hunt

* 8 p.m. Spooky Stories & S'mores by the campfire

The event comes to the South Haven community courtesy of the following volunteer organizations and community volunteers: South Haven Boys & Girls Club, South Haven Fire Department and auxiliary, South Haven Library, South Haven Lions Club, Portage Community Theatre group, Friends of Portage Township Foundation, Inc., Jessica Bailey and family, Nina Rivas and family and Brendan Clancy and the Portage Township trustee’s office.
