SOUTH HAVEN | A 34-year-old South Haven man faces two charges after narrowly surviving a heroin overdose Monday.
County police said they were called to 442 Piedmont Road at 9:50 p.m. to respond to an unconscious man, who had overdosed on drugs.
They found others had dragged Felix Olvera, of the same address, from the bathroom to the living room where they were performing CPR.
Olvera was provided with medications, regained consciousness and was taken to Porter Regional Hospital, police said.
He faces a felony count of possession of a hypodermic needle and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
