HAMMOND | A South Haven man was sentenced to 2 1//2 years in prison for dealing cocaine.

U.S. District Judge Joseph Van Bokkelen handed down the 30-month prison sentence -- plus three years of supervised release -- to Daniel Loy, 32, earlier this week in Hammond federal court.

According court records, Loy admitted to distributing a total of 115 grams of cocaine spread out over two occasions in October and November 2011.
