The Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County-South Haven Unit is accepting reservations for teams from local police and fire department to compete in the 7th Annual “Battle of the Badges” Basketball tournament.

The three-day “Battle of the Badges” Tournament will be held on May 1, 8 and 9 at the South Haven Unit, 723 Long Run Road.

Local police and fire departments can enter a team in the tournament and compete against defending Champion South Haven Fire Department for the coveted Championship “Battle of the Badges” title. Team registration is $150. Availability is limited to eight teams.

Police and fire department teams interested in participating in the “Battle of the Badges” Basketball Tournament can contact Ron Ranta, South Haven Unit Director at (219) 759-2565 or rranta@bgcpoco.org.

All proceeds from “Battle of the Badges” Basketball Tournament will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County-South Haven Unit. Admission to the games is $3 for adults and $1 for children with an adult. A trophy will be handed out to the winning team immediately after the completion of the championship game.
