VALPARAISO | Traffic in the area of U.S. 30 and Horseprairie Avenue is backed up as police and fire crews work to extricate a man from a rolled-over vehicle.
Valparaiso police Sgt. Mike Grennes said traffic is down to just one lane in both directions on U.S. 30. He expects the delays to last until at least 5:30 p.m.
He said two vehicles were involved.
He said he didn’t know the extent of the man’s injuries, but the man was talking as crews worked to remove him from his vehicle.
Grennes said drivers should try to avoid the area until 5:30 or 6 p.m.
