VALPARAISO | The Concert Association of Valparaiso starts its 70th year of live concerts with the classical piano magic of Andy Feldbau at 3 p.m. Sunday at Valparaiso High School, 2727 N. Campbell St.

A young, rising star and composer, Feldbau has performed in Carnegie Hall, has been heard on Chicago's WFMT and has been invited to the Dame Myra Hess concerts in Preston Bradley Hall in Chicago. 

Feldbau won First Prize in the American Protégé International Piano Competition, and other competitions in Israel and Russia. He recently received his master’s degree from The Juilliard School, where he studied with Julian Martin, and currently studies with Pavlina Dokovska.

Admission is by subscription to the concert series or by purchasing tickets at the door -- $15-adult / $10-student.
