VALPARAISO | The Porter County Antique Show, along with Engstrom Jewelers and Mental Health America of Porter County, will present its Appraisal Fair and Auction from 7 to 9 p.m. Nov. 1 at the Porter County Expo Center.

This evening includes a private preview of the following day’s Porter County Antique Show, antique, jewelry, coin, and art appraisals, and an antique/collectibles auction. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to Mental Health America of Porter County.

Funds raised through this event will be used to sustain the programs and services that Mental Health America of Porter County provides. Included in these programs is the giftLift program, which makes the holiday season brighter for more than 650 individuals and families by giving them thousands of gifts.

Donations from the auction will be used to keep programs like the giftLift program possible.

The cost is $10 and is open to the public. Mental Health America will be there with its annual pretzel sale. All proceeds to benefit Mental Health America.

Professional appraisers for antiques, jewelry, coins and art will be at the auction. People can get one free appraisal per paid admission.

The list of donors for the event include The Antique Market, Black Cat Antiques, The Staggs Family, Porter County sheriff, The Bookworm, Kathy's Antique Shop, Nickol Fine Art, Estate Collection and Engstrom Jewelers.
