VALPARAISO | Frontline Foundations is hosting a dinner and event featuring an inspiring message of community awareness, education and hope from New York Times best-selling author and addiction recovery expert Christopher Kennedy Lawford.

The event begins at 6 p.m. Saturday March 16 at Valparaiso University Harre Union, 1509 Chapel Drive in Valparaiso. Tickets are $40 per person or $35 per person for a table of eight.

Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.in1accord.eventbrite.com. For sponsorship opportunities or more information, contact Derek Frazier at (219) 728-1638.

Lawford, nephew of the late John F. Kennedy, currently works with the White House Office on Drug Control Policy, the World Health Organization and the Canadian Center on Substance Abuse. Lawford was also named Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Office on Drugs & Crime to promote activities supporting drug treatment, care and recovery and he holds a Master’s in clinical psychology from Harvard Medical School.

Proceeds benefit Frontline Foundations Inc., a substance abuse treatment provider in Porter County exclusively for young adults ages 18-28. It is a certified outpatient treatment provider in Porter County and offers support through recovery workshops, peer-to-peer group sessions, and individual treatment plans that professional substance abuse counselors and program coordinators facilitate.
