CIVILSUMAN - Col. Suman Grave Marker Cerermony

Civil War re-enactor Michael Miller lays his hand on a special granite marker at the grave site of Col. Isaac Suman on Monday at Maplewood Cemetery in Valparaiso. The marker acknowledges Suman's injuries suffered while helping command the 9th Indiana Infantry on New Year's Eve in 1862 at the Battle of Stones River in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
