VALPARAISO | Life Care Center of The Willows in Valparaiso invites the community to its free monthly Family Night from 6 to 7:15 p.m. May 9 at 1000 Elizabeth Drive.

In addition to refreshments, Judy Kukelka from Rittenhouse Senior Living in Portage will talk about what assisted living is and how seniors could benefit from it. Guests will be able to ask questions after the presentation.

Over the course of the year, educational presentations will include sun safety, an eye-opening look at hidden sugar in foods, back-to-school health tips, chair yoga and other topics.
