WESTVILLE | Purdue University North Central students in the Computer & Information Technology, Construction Engineering and Management Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology and Mechanical Engineering Technology programs will present their Senior Project Showcase from 5:30 to 8 p.m. May 8 in the Library-Student-Faculty Building Assembly Hall, Room 02.

The event is free and open to the public.

The Senior Showcase provides an opportunity for graduating seniors to present their capstone projects in a public forum. Parents, friends, current students, prospective PNC students and prospective employers are welcome to attend to see the projects, ask questions and learn more about the PNC College of Engineering and Technology from PNC students and faculty.

The showcase will include the student-created remote-controlled inspection vehicle that recently earned third place at district in the annual American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Student Design Competition and an electric vehicle that was designed and built by the PNC Electric Vehicle Research Club and competed in the Purdue University evGrand Prix.
