Local lawmakers will attend legislative forum on Saturday

VALPARAISO | The public is invited to attend a legislative forum set for 9 a.m. Saturday at the Thomas Jefferson Middle School auditorium, 1600 Roosevelt Road.

The forum, sponsored by Porter County Retired Teachers Association, will be moderated by former teacher and former state Rep. Ralph Ayres.

Written questions from the audience will be accepted. Questions can also be submitted online at portercountyrta.org.

Organizers said they have commitments from state Rep. Ed Soliday, state Sen. Ed Charbonneau, state Rep. Charlie Brown and state Rep. Chuck Mosely.
