Three complete basic training
Air Force Airman Christopher D. Wilkie Jr., Air Force Reserve Airman Jeremy R. Honore and Air Force Airman Alan T. Potts graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airmen completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Wilkie earned distinction as an honor graduate. He is the son of Cindy and Christopher Wilkie, of Dyer. The airman is a 2013 graduate of Lake Central High School, St. John.
Honore is the son of Ramon Honore and Lyn Oliviel, both of Chicago Heights. He is a 2013 graduate of Marian Catholic High School, Chicago Heights.
Potts is the son of Brooks Potts, of Chesterton. He is a 2011 graduate of Chesterton High School.
