WESTVILLE | The Purdue University North Central Office of Career Development will host two events this fall: a Part-Time Job Fair will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 18 and a Fall Career Expo will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 2. Both events are free and open to the public in the Library-Student-Faculty Building, Room 144.
The Part-Time Fair is open to community businesses looking to hire on a part-time basis, or are recruiting for seasonal employment for the holiday season. The Fall Career Expo will give PNC students, faculty, staff, alumni and the general public an opportunity to network with representatives from local businesses, government agencies and community organizations about full-time, seasonal and internship opportunities.
Attendees are strongly encouraged to research the organizations they are interested in and to bring multiple copies of their resume along with any questions they may have. Business attire is required for both events. No jeans, T-shirts, tennis shoes, flip-flops or hats.
Employers who register before Saturday will receive an early bird registration discount for the Fall Career Expo. There will be no charge to employers for the Part-Time Fair.
Registration for PNC students, faculty, staff and the general public is currently open for both events. To obtain further information or to register, visit http://www.pnc.edu/depts/careers/fair/index.html, or call (219) 785-5451.
