Camp FUNset has a limited amount of spots open

Next week Camp FUNset is a 3- day Camp Celebration of the Red, White,Blue. Great way to begin your 4th of July holiday with outdoor fun and games at Camp FUNset: hiking, arts & crafts and great adventures with new friends. This camp will run Monday- Wed, July 1 – 3rd.

Registrations will be taken at the Parks and Recreation office located at 155 Indiana Ave, Suite 304 from 9 am to 3 pm. Cash or Check only. Please see our website for more information and to print all camp forms at portercountyparks.org

Go FishIN at Brookdale

Saturday, June 29th and Saturday, July 6th. 1-3pm. Free. Brookdale

Learn to tie knots, prepare a hook, proper casting and safety in and around the water.

A Calm Afternoon

Sunday, June 30th . 1-3pm. $20. Brincka Cross Gardens

Enjoy an afternoon of tranquility and the soothing rhythms of nature in the summer at beautiful Brincka Cross Gardens.

Acrylic Painting Lessons – South Haven Public Library

Monday, July 1st. 6-8pm. Cost: $10.

All skill levels are welcome to attend this art class under the guidance of Shirley Massey, an experienced instructor. A painting surface will be provided.

Senior Hike sponsored by Porter Regional Hospital

Wednesday, July 3rd . 3-4pm. Free. Sunset Hill Farm

The topic of the July Hike is Tree Identification. Learn to identify trees by leaf, location, bark and smell.

Year Round Run Club

Tue/Thur- 8-9am. Cost: Free.

Join Dan Sturgell, and experienced trail runner, for a run to discover the beauty of Sunset Hill. The length of the run varies, but will traverse grass, hills, and woodland trails.

Women’s Walk Club sponsored by Porter Regional Hospital

Tue/Thur – 8-9am. Cost: Free.

Join Jenna Martin, RN, for a walk on the challenging terrain of Sunset Hill Farm. Must be 18 years or older.

Sunset Dog Walkers

Tue/Thur – 10-11am. Cost: Free.

Bring your 4 legged friend on a leash for a walk on the trails at Sunset Hill Farm. Jenna Martin, RN, and one of her 4 legged friends will offer wellness information and encouragement for the dogs and their walkers.
