Origami Club

CHESTERTON | Children grades three and up can attend Origami Club from 11 a.m. to noon at Westchester Public Library, 200 W. Indiana Ave. The club meets in the Children's Department at Thomas Library. Registration is necessary. Call or visit the Children's Department today. Join Leslie Cefali for the Japanese folk art of paper folding. Students will transform a flat sheet of material into a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting techniques. Watercolor workshop set

CHESTERTON | Kathy Los-Rathburn will host a watercolor workshop focusing on lighthouses from 1 to 4 p.m. at Chesterton Art Center, 115 S. 4th St. Students will have the option of doing two sizes of paintings - 1/2 sheet size (14 x 21 ) or a smaller (7 x 11). Supplies are not included. Participants should bring regular watercolor supplies, along with 300# paper or 140# paper, block or stretched.
