Valpo Swap Meet and Car Show

VALPARAISO | Valpo Swap Meet and Car Show will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Porter County Fairgrounds. Show Cars are free. All makes and models are welcome as well as the new era modern future classic cars.The new twist at the show is that the car and driver are entered for free. There will be a DJ and food. Cars must register by 10:30 a.m. to get in free. Classic cars can be sold free in the car corral with paid admission to the show. Cost is $5. Call (219) 464-9918.

Alzheimer's/Dementia Support Group

PORTAGE | Alzheimer's/Dementia Support Group meetings are held for family members and/or friends caring for a loved one with Alzheimer's disease or a related dementia. The group will meet at 6 p.m. and focuses on providing education and support at 6235 Sterling Creek Road. Group leaders and members provide emotional support, exchange care giving skills, share information about helpful community services and problem solve together. Call (219) 263-9383.

Flower sale planned

MICHIGAN CITY | The Franciscan St. Anthony Health-Michigan City Guild of Volunteers is planning a Memorial Day Flower Sale from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Franciscan St. Anthony Health-Michigan City, 301 W.
