VALPARAISO | Mike Hampton of Precision Pipeline took a tour of Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County-South Haven Unit and was impressed with the programs offering support in education and healthy lifestyles. Particularly moved by the Club’s cooking class where members create and enjoy healthy meals and snacks, Hampton returned to the South Haven Unit and presented a check for $5,000. Precision Pipeline’s generosity will fund new iPads and support the Club’s healthy lifestyle programs such as the cooking class.
“We are so grateful for this tremendous gift,” said Ron Ranta, South Haven Unit Director. “Because of people like Mike Hampton and companies like Precision Pipeline, our kids have access to what they need to succeed.”
Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County has been serving youth since 1971. The Clubs provide high quality programs for nearly 5,000 boys and girls supporting academic success, good character and citizenship development, and healthy lifestyles.
