The Rebuilding Together Valparaiso Workday 2013 is set for April 20.
More than 20 projects have been screened and selected for work. Projects will range from installing a new bathroom to painting, repairing faulty construction, and yard cleanup for residents in need.
Hundreds of volunteers, including Valparaiso University students, community business groups, church groups and individuals, will gather to donate their time and efforts for this annual event.
Rebuilding Together is the largest nonprofit organization in the United States dedicated to rehabilitating and renovating the houses of low-income homeowners, particularly the elderly, disabled and families with children. Rebuilding Together Valparaiso is one of 250 local affiliates of the national organization.
