VALPARAISO | Fun after-school camps are being offered for kids ages 8-18 this fall at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County-Valparaiso Unit. Kids will enjoy creating a stop motion movie, experimenting with properties of physics, or learning how to make easy family meals in the Fall Camp experiences.

Painting Camp kicks off the Fall After-School Camp series on September 23, 2013. All participants in Painting Camp will have the opportunity to create a piece to be entered in the Boys & Girls Clubs of America National Fine Arts Exhibit. The cost is $20 and includes materials.

Additional camps this fall include: Art and Photography Camps in October, Stop Motion Movie and Science in November and Food Camp will wrap up the series in December. Registration fees vary with each camp.

Spaces are limited in each of the camps. Early registration is encouraged as they fill up quickly. Parents can register online now for all fall camps at www.bgcpoco.org. Children must have a current membership with Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County in order to participate in the camps. Annual memberships at the Valparaiso Unit are $35.00 per year. Financial assistance is available for membership fees for those who qualify. For more information about camps, times, or registration, please call (219) 462-2182 x234.
