VALPARAISO | Remember Our Fallen is coming to Valparaiso on Saturday.

This touring photo display honors Indiana military who have died from wounds suffered in a war zone since Sept. 11, 2001. This exhibit is on loan to Easter Seals Crossroads, which is bringing it to Valparaiso.

The exhibit will be on display from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily from Friday to Oct. 30 at American Legion Charles Pratt Post No. 94, 4 Monroe St. There will be an opening ceremony at 11 a.m. Saturday at the post.

Touring the display is free but donations will be accepted.

Valparaiso's Post Commander Rick Stamper has already seen the display.

"I'm hoping others see it and they get a sense of the sacrifice the military goes through and they make a connection," Stamper said. "You can't walk up and down the display and not feel the emotion."

One of the photos on display is that of John Amos II, of Valparaiso, who died in Iraq in 2004. His mother, Susan Amos, is a member of the Valparaiso legion.

The display is in Hobart at the Police Court complex, 705 E. Fourth St.,  and will be there until it is transferred to Valparaiso on Friday by the Indiana Patriot Guard. The display hours in Hobart are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today through Thursday.
