VALPARAISO | Opportunity Enterprises will hold an “OE Family Finances Workshop” 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at OE’s main building, 2801 Evans Ave.

The legal workshop is a free forum geared toward the caregivers of people with disabilities, but it is open to the public.

Topics will include guidance on guardianships for families with a child with special needs, such as how, when, or why a guardianship should be established and how to select a guardian for those children.

“We’re really grateful to be able to partner with Burke Costanza & Carberry to make this important information available to families,” said David Stupay, CEO of Opportunity Enterprises.

“Our Family Finance Workshops aim to alleviate some of the concerns caregivers have regarding their loved ones’ long term needs.”
