Spruitenberg named Valparaiso Kiwanis Member of the Year

 Mary Spruitenberg was named Outstanding Member of the Year for the Valparaiso Noon Kiwanis Club.

VALPARAISO | The Valparaiso Noon Kiwanis Club announced that 22-year member and former Club President Mary Spruitenberg has been named Outstanding Member of the Year.

The Noon Kiwanis Club of 150 members annually donates more than $50,000 per year to local community organizations that help improve the lives of children and their families in our community.

In addition, Club members contribute hundreds of hours of community service and support youth community service clubs in local high schools, middle schools and elementary schools.

Mary Spruitenberg is “an outstanding example of our Club and a tremendously hard worker” Club President Walt Daiber said. He noted she regularly participates in community service and raises money for activities.
