VALPARAISO | A pewter statue reported stolen Saturday from the Industrial Revolution restaurant was recovered on Monday.

Valparaiso police said the statue, valued at $10,000, was spotted by a driver in the area of Ransom and Froberg roads.

Police found the statue undamaged. It has been returned to the restaurant, according to police.

The theft remains under investigation.
