Join our team of over 100 volunteers and join our efforts toward conservation, education, and learning innovative ways to help the environment!
Orientation will be presented on two Tuesday mornings, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. March 19 and 26 at the Railway Garden Depot/Visitor Center (Attendance is required at both sessions). The two-session orientation program includes an overview and history of the Arboretum as well as information about the various volunteer opportunities. Taltree Arboretum & Gardens, a 501(c)3 public charity, offers over 360 acres of formal gardens, preserved woodlands, savanna, wetlands, and prairie, with nearly four miles of hiking trails. Themed displays include the Hitz Family Rose Garden, Native Plant Garden, Oak Islands, Taltree Railway Garden, and new Children’s Adventure Garden.
