PORTER COUNTY | Valparaiso Community Festivals & Events (VCFE) is looking for artists to showcase their talents. Artists will have the opportunity to compete and have their artwork featured as the focus of the 35th Annual Valparaiso Popcorn Festival’s marketing campaign. The winning entry will receive $1,000. Also, a $300 prize will be awarded for second place. The contest is open to all interested parties, particularly art students, professional artists and graphic designers. The submission deadline is Friday, April 19 at noon. The grand prize and second place winners will be announced by Friday, April 26, 2013.
