VALPARAISO | Tickets for the 22nd Annual Opportunity Enterprises Gala are now on sale. The black-tie optional event, hosted by the Delta Theta Tau service sorority, will take place on Saturday, March 8, 2014, from 6:30-11:30pm at the Avalon Manor in Merrillville, Ind. Proceeds from this year’s Gala will go towards OE’s Respite Program.
Tickets for the Gala are $125 and include a catered dinner, open bar, live music, dancing and exciting silent and live auctions. Featured items include Blackhawks tickets, hotel packages, vacation packages to Italy, Florida and Michigan, and more. The agency is also raffling off a 2-year lease for a 2014 Volkswagen Beetle. David Stupay, President and CEO of Opportunity Enterprises, will present former OE CEO Gary Mitchell with the first OE Lifetime Achievement Award at the event.
Since the first Gala held in 1993, the event has raised more than $1.1 million to support children and adults with disabilities throughout Northwest Indiana. “This event has been redesigned and will be bigger and better than ever before,” said Stupay “It will be an awesome evening to celebrate the successes of our participants and recognize all of our supporters who make our mission possible.”
