INDIANAPOLIS | A U.S. Marine veteran from Valparaiso could see his life change Sunday if his name is drawn as the $1 million winner at the Indianapolis Colts halftime show.

Christopher Ziegler is one of five finalists in the Hoosier Lottery's Lucky Millionaire drawing, according to a lottery news release issued Monday.

Ziegler served in the Gulf War and told lottery officials he won't quit his current job as an emergency medical technician if he wins.

Ziegler entered his nonwinning $20 scratch-off ticket into a second chance promotion on the Hoosier Lottery website and was chosen as one of the five finalists.

As a finalist, he was awarded $500 and has the chance to win during the Colts game in Indianapolis.
