VALPARAISO | Valparaiso University will offer noncredit classes in financial planning and paralegal studies.
The courses are offered throught VU's Graduate School and Continuing Education, which has partnered with Dalton Education.
Two options are available those interested in financial planning. VU will offer a master’s certificate in financial planning or an online executive certificate in financial planning.
The master’s certificate can be completed in nine months, university officials said, and has start dates in February, May and September.
The online executive certificate can be completed in six to nine months.
Courses in both programs include fundamentals of financial planning and insurance, investment planning, income tax planning, retirement planning, estate planning, and financial plan presentation course.
VU also will offer a six-course online executive certificate in paralegal studies, which can be completed in six months.
