VALPARAISO | VFW Post 988 will host an open house for veterans to help them learn more about services available to them.
The open house will be from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at the post, 705 Roosevelt Road.
Aaron Stagg, a licensed marriage and family therapist, from the Crown Point Veterans Administration Center, and Richard Miller, regional director for AMVETS will attend.
Stagg will have information and handouts about the vet center services including individual, couple, family and group counseling and other resources available to combat veterans.
Miller will be available to assist any veteran with benefit claim questions or applications.
