VALPARAISO | The Northwest Indiana United Futbol Club (United) raised $1,438 through “United for Change,” a United fundraising effort to benefit Chasing Dreams, Inc. All the United soccer teams competed to see which team could raise the most money for Chasing Dreams, a Valparaiso-based charity with the goal of enhancing the lives of children with Down Syndrome and their families. Chasing Dreams provides a place for interaction and programs that educate and develop self-esteem and physical and social skills necessary for a meaningful life.

The United U10 Girls team raised the most money as a team with an average of $13.76 per team member. U13 team member, Courtney Thomas, raised the most money as an individual, raising over $95.
