SCHERERVILLE | Schererville Town Councilman Tom Schmitt has announced that he will seek a second term.
His current term expires at the end of 2010.
Schmitt, whose full-time job is as an operations specialist at the BP Whiting Refinery, represents the town's 4th Ward.
Schmitt said he enjoys being part of the council and there are a lot of things he would like to see progress, despite tough economic times. -- BY VANESSA RENDERMAN, THE TIMES
