Thank you to William J. O'Connor for his Nov. 13 column on abortion.
More than 55 million babies were killed in the name of women's rights. So many little girls who never will have any rights. More deaths than all of our country's casualties from all of the conflicts and wars, including the Civil War.
When will women's rights be satisfied? Abstinence is possible. We teach our children to say no to drugs. Teach children respect of one another. Sex is not love. Real love is respect and commitment.
No one wants to talk about abortion. It reminds me of the neighbors who lived outside the gates of the Dachau, Germany, concentration camp. The neighbors just went about their lives. What could they do? Probably they too were scared, so afraid someone would take them.
We live in America where we must have laws that protect each one of us. Let's change this law. We need TV to highlight just what is abortion. It's just a word to some people. It's death to others.
