As a former coach and fan of basketball, I get out to a lot of high school basketball games in the region, and I must say, Munster has shown itself to be a program for emulation.
Forget that this is their second undefeated season in the last three years. I'm writing about how the Munster program under Coach Mike Hackett operates.
I watched them play several games and it was very enjoyable to watch kids do things so correctly. Hackett's players play with precision, and they are all well groomed and well disciplined on and off the floor.
I spoke to a local team a few days ago and cited the Munster program as an example when I told the team that if they want to enjoy a high level of success, appearance and discipline is essential.
I have no connection to the Munster program, but I certainly do appreciate watching a quality program with a quality coach operate in doing things right.
