Does it seem strange that the Obama administration can falsely blame a bad movie short about Mohammad for the Benghazi attack but won't call out its Hollywood friends for glamorizing violence in light of the Newtown shooting?

The Obama administration let 2,000 assault weapons go to Mexican drug lords, and according to Mexican Attorney General Victor Trevino 300 Mexicans were murdered with these. The Obama administration conducted no house cleaning at the Justice Department after that, but Obama surrounds himself with children as he signs executive orders to "protect the children" from assault weapons. Is that strange? Or is that hypocrisy?
