Our economy might be running a fever right now, but it's been sick for awhile. Between an increasingly unregulated Wall Street and a debt-driven economy, it was only a matter of time before our economy began to swerve out of control.

While our new president and Congress try to find a remedy for Wall Street, working families are looking for a way to bring a sense of balance back to the workplace. No matter how well our leaders perform in crafting an economic recovery package, it will amount to little if working people don't have a voice on the job.

The power to bargain collectively is the surest way to secure livable wages, quality health care and a stable retirement. The Employee Free Choice Act will help restore workers' freedom to bargain with their employers for a better life.
